1. Introduction
T1Dub ("T1Dub", "we", "our", or "us") is an AI-powered video dubbing platform. We transcribe, translate, and re-voice your videos, let you create voice clones from your own audio, and provide real-time meeting and live dubbing. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
This policy applies to our website, web application, and related services (together, the "Services"). It works alongside our Cookie Policy and Terms of Service.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account & profile data
- Email address (required and used as your sign-in identifier) and username.
- Password, stored only as a salted hash — we never store it in plain text.
- Profile details you choose to add: preferred language, accent, and an optional profile image.
- A personal API key generated for your account.
2.2 Content you upload and generate
- Videos you upload for dubbing, along with the audio extracted from them.
- Transcripts and translations — the text we generate from your video's speech and its translation into your chosen target language.
- Voice clones — the reference audio samples you provide and the resulting voice model, plus metadata such as the clone's name, language, age label, and quality/similarity score.
- Dubbed output — the synthesized audio and final dubbed videos we produce for you.
- Real-time sessions — audio streamed during meeting or live dubbing, and per-speaker voice samples detected by our speaker-diarization step.
2.3 Billing data
- Subscription plan, status, billing dates, credit balances, and credit usage history (including the size, duration, and word count of jobs you process).
- Payment records such as amount, currency, and transaction identifiers. Your full card or payment-instrument details are handled directly by our payment processor (see Section 4) — T1Dub does not store your card numbers.
2.4 Data collected automatically
- Log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages or features used.
- Device and usage information, including the timing and frequency of activity.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for the full list.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To transcribe, translate, dub, and voice-clone the content you submit.
- To operate real-time meeting and live dubbing sessions.
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
- To process subscriptions, payments, credits, and refunds.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To monitor, secure, debug, and improve the Services.
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
- To send service and security notices (and, only with your consent, marketing messages).
We do not use your uploaded videos, voice clones, or generated audio to train general-purpose AI models for unrelated purposes.
4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We rely on a number of processors and infrastructure providers to deliver the Services. We share only the data each provider needs for its function.
- Paddle — our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Receives your name, email, billing details, and payment information to take payment and handle taxes. Privacy policy.
- Amazon Web Services (S3) — cloud storage for your uploaded videos, reference audio, voice clones, and dubbed output. Stored encrypted (AES-256) with private access. Privacy policy.
- OpenAI — receives transcribed text to perform translation. Privacy policy.
- Google Cloud Translation — may receive text for translation into your chosen target language. Privacy policy.
- Fish Audio — when cloud voice synthesis is enabled, receives reference audio and text to generate dubbed speech and voice clones. Provider site.
- Hugging Face (pyannote) — supports speaker diarization (detecting distinct speakers) for multi-speaker videos and real-time sessions. Privacy policy.
- Redis / managed cache provider — used transiently for job queues, real-time message routing, and caching.
- Email delivery provider — receives your email address to send account, security, and support messages.
- Hosting / CDN providers — host the website and application and route traffic.
We may also disclose data when required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights and safety of users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal data. [Confirm current sub-processor list before publication.]
5. Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above:
- Account and profile data: for the life of your account, and for a limited period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations.
- Uploaded videos, voice clones, and generated output: kept while your account is active so you can access them, and deleted (or scheduled for deletion) when you delete them or close your account. [Insert specific retention windows once configured.]
- Real-time session audio: processed in real time and not retained beyond what is needed to deliver and, where applicable, save the session output.
- Billing records: retained as required by tax and accounting law[insert jurisdiction-specific period].
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export (portability), restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
- You can view and update most account and profile data from your account settings.
- You can delete uploaded videos and voice clones from your dashboard.
- To exercise any right, or to request full deletion of your account and associated content, contact us at privacy@t1dub.tech. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery, and we may use functional and analytics technologies. Your authentication token is stored in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. For the full breakdown and your choices, see our Cookie Policy.
8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256 server-side encryption for stored files), private storage access with time-limited signed URLs, hashed passwords, and access controls that limit who can reach your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and continuously improve our safeguards.
9. International Data Transfers
We and our service providers may process your data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for these transfers.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
